Kaia Schultz Rønsdal, born in 1978 in Oslo, Norway. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the [https://www.tf.uio.no/personer/vit/kdschult/index.html Faculty of Theology, University of Oslo.]

She is a researcher in the UIO: [https://www.uio.no/english/research/strategic-research-areas/nordic/research/research-groups/nordhost/ Nordic financed project NORDHOST - Nordic Hospitalities in a Context of Migration and Refugee Crisis].

She has a MA in Professional ethics from 2006, from the University of Oslo, and holds a PhD in science of diaconia from 2016. Her thesis explores the concept of calling, starting from public urban space in Oslo. It was published in 2018.[1]

Her main research interests include spatial theory, urbanity, phenomenology, and theological ethics. Her current work is related to explorations of the concept of hospitality, starting in Nordic borderlands.
