Kally Adderkin-Hall is a former BBC presenter, news reporter, television producer and screenwriter and the founder of the charity documentary company KAH Productions. She is notable as being the first Asian female reporter for BBC's flagship Spotlight programe and the first Asian female reporter for ITV Wales. Kally began her career with the BBC in 1995 as a radio broadcaster for BBC Bristol. In 1998 she moved to Channel 1 Television where she was nominated for a BT Television Award for her documentary Chris Howes, The West Remembers, documentary written and presented about a mines clearance expert killed by Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. In 1999 Kally joined ITV Wales as lead presenter and reporter. Some of her most notable stories include the formation of the Welsh Assembly, the Rugby World Cup. She also gained national attention when she accompanied Ryan Giggs and the Welsh football team to Belarus. In 2001 Kally returned to the BBC as a reporter and producer for the newly formed BBC 24 News Channel. In 2002 Kally was made lead reporter and presenter for the BBC's Spotlight programme in the South East. In 2004 Kally left the BBC to form her TV and video production company KAH Productions. Kally was adopted as a child but knows that she is of Indian heritage. Kally is married with two adopted boys.
