| 释义 | Khalsa Secondary Academy is a Sikh-Faith secondary school in Stoke Poges. It opened in 2013 and now has 400 pupils, some of them are in the Sixth Form. The headteacher of the school is Sulina Piesse. Khalsa has a great curriculum as it does subjects such as Mathematics and English but also does Sikh Studies and Punjabi. It also has a Gurdwara which Sikh pupils go to in order to pray. Non-Sikhs don’t have to take part in Sikh activities. The GCSE results of KSA is fantastic as well! In 2016, Khalsa came 2nd in Slough and 26th in the United Kingdom. The school also has a range of enrichment activities such as horse riding and archery. Khalsa also has fantastic sport teams as they are beating other secondary schools. In 2017, Ofsted rated KSA ‘Good’ in all categories. |
