Kornél Kovács (born November 15, 1985) is a Swedish DJ and electronic music producer. He previously worked as a writer for several Swedish newspaper and magazines, and also worked as a radio host for the program P3 Dans on Sveriges Radio.[1] Kovács was born in Stockholm to Hungarian parents.[2] In 2009, he founded the record label Studio Barnhus together with friends Axel Boman and Petter Nordkvist.[2] In 2018, they released the compilation album Studio Barnhus Volym 1, featuring tracks from Kovács, Boman, DJ Koze, John Talabot, Adrian Lux, and others.[3][4] Pitchfork gave the album a 7.7/10 rating, describing it as an "immersive and warm-hearted comp from the Swedish label", and "filled with pop oddities and floor-filling house tracks from both big names and newcomers".[5] Kovács released his debut studio album The Bells in in 2016, to favourable reviews.
