Krot is widely known for fans of drum & bass music in Russia and far beyond. Own creative way of the producer and DJ Kirill began in 2005.[2] CareerFrom the very childhood, Orlov was fascinated by electronic music and in particular the sound of such cult performers as The Prodigy, Aphrodite and Fatboy Slim. Initially, Kirill paid special attention to drum & bass and further concentrated on this direction. After a while he began to actively perform as a DJ at local drum and bass parties and managed to play his sets in different iconic institutions of Petersburg – Tunnel, Friday, Catamaran Sapphire[1]. In 2009 there was a turning point in Orlov's career as a musician: his track got into the most popular podcast of DJ Bes`a Neuropunk. In the same year, he released his first album on Tamrecords, Tourniquet EP. The release received a huge response from the audience and in fact became a hit of a huge number of drum and bass dancefloors. Since that time, Krot began to actively tour and visited with his performances such cities as Moscow, Minsk, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, etc. At the moment, his tracks have been signed by such labels as Close 2 Death, Mindtech, Modulate, Blackseeds, Tamrecords, and Tilt. In 2011, his first vinyl record was released on Close2Death. In 2013 Kirill started to make more liquid drum and bass. His first lovely tunes was signed by Jay Rome to Blu Saphir Recordings and Krot still work hard with the label.[3] Discography
