Lasitha Perera, professional music instructor [organ, guitar, vocal & piano], Vocalist ( Be Positive Band), pianist, Keyboardist , Guitarist, Music composer, Lyrics writer, music composer, Audio engineer, audio/video producer, artist producer, music director & media coordinator. Born in : 1979/05/03 in Kandy. Studied at : Kingswood College Kandy Lasitha started his music carrier when he was 5 years as a pianist who is dedicated in his carrier now as a professional musician. He is full time engaged in hard practicing and training his own unique style to maintain a very high standard in his profession. He started his music carrier and the most popular band “Be Positive” in 1996 as professionals. His most popular tracks are Bisawa, Dum Dum , Aseemithai Adare, Sora Bora wawa, Saman Malai Rosa malui etc. “Be Positive” Introduced the first 3D animated video in Sri Lanka for the first time through an Anti-Smoking song (Dum Dum Rali Rali) and won a president award for this identical 3D animated video by the Health Ministry in 2003 as well. Aseemithai Adare (Be Positive) Released most popular videos : Bisawa, dum Dum, sora bora wewa langa, saman malui rosa malui, Lasitha Perera started his carrier as a solo artist and he could release his own Audio Album “Kisi Dine” with SONY Music worldwide with M Entertainment group in 2009. Apart from his music carrier he is the proprietor for LPMA -Lasitha Perera Music Academy in Kandy. Lasitha Perera is a popular music instructor and LPMA is a well-established and a well-equipped academy with modern highly professional technology and updated with every unique facilities. He is with a competent knowledge of universal music and caters for any type of student using a variety of methods in teaching.
