Laura Dunn (born Laura Jones; in Winnetka, Illinois) is a television host, actress, model, and blogger based in Beverly Hills, CA. She is best known for her portrayal of Cricket Box, the wife of Jack, in a series of Jack in the Box commercials that ran from 1996-2010, and an extensive print and modeling career.[1][2] Dunn is also the creator and writer of a lifestyle blog, a fashion editor for Genlux Magazine, and as at 2019 was the luxury travel correspondent for The Jetset, a nationally syndicated travel-oriented talk show.[3][4][5] Early Life{{unreferenced section|date=March 2019}}Laura Dunn was born in Winnetka, IL. After graduating from New Trier High School in Northfield, IL, Dunn attended the University of Arizona. During her second semester, she went back to Illinois to compete in the Miss Illinois and Miss USA Pageant as Miss Wilmette.[2] CareerModelingDunn's first modeling agency was The Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas, Texas. It was there that Dunn was discovered by Sonja Ekval of Model Team in Hamburg, Germany.
