{{draft article}} Lauren Lovette (born November 10, 1991) is a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet[1] and choreographer. Early life and educationLovette was born in Thousand Oaks, California and started her ballet education at the age of ten. She went on to study at the Cary Ballet Conservatory in North Carolina and eventually the School of American Ballet.[2] Professional careerIn 2009 Lovette became an apprentice with the New York City Ballet, joined the company's corps de ballet in 2010, was promoted to soloist in 2013 and principal in 2015. Her repertoire with NYCB include Calliope in Apollo, the Sugarplum Fairy and Dewdrop in The Nutcracker, Juliet in Romoeo and Juliet and Aurora and Princess Florine in The Sleeping Beauty.{{cn|date=December 2018}} Lovette has also performed in George Balanchine's Duo Concertant, Raymonda Variations, La Sonnambula, Walpurgisnacht Ballet, Symphony in C (Third Movement), Jerome Robbin's The Cage, The Four Seasons (Spring), Dances at a Gathering, Afternoon of a Faun and Christopher Wheeldon's Carousel (A Dance), Polyphonia and American Rhapsody.{{cn|date=December 2018}} ChoreographyLovette's work as a choreographer include:[3]
