Overview

LAYLA-EC is an e-commerce website for semiconductor parts and equipment trade. Launched by TMH Inc., a Japanese semiconductor trading company, LAYLA-EC was one of the first online marketplaces from Japan for the semiconductor industry. LAYLA-EC is available in all countries as an open marketplace. Users come from different parts of the world, suchs as the Unites States, South-Korea, Taiwan, and China. The site was launched in April, 2018. It facilitates cross-border business-to-business sales. The site is free for all users, and there are no limitations for the sellers to list items. For payments the site utilizes PayPal and bank transfers through an escrow agent.

TMH Inc. has its offices in Tokyo and Nagoya, and the headquarters is in the famous hot spring prefecture of Oita. LAYLA-EC is run from the headquarters. TMH Inc. was founded by Taisuke Enami, a former Toshiba employee.
