Lee Hnetinka is an American businessman (born-22nd May 1987). He is the co-founder and CEO of Darkstore which was established in 2017. Previously he was also the founder of WunWun which he established in 2012 but later in 2015, he sold it to Hello Alfred. Early LifeHnetinka was born on 22nd May 1987 in New York, USA and completed his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University Of Buffalo Management School. It's a state university of New York. He got engaged in 2017 with Stefania and tie the knot in 2018. CareerHnetinka opened his first company WunWun in 2012. It was a one-hour delivery app which delivers the order of restaurants and store. But in 2015, it was acquired by Hello Alfred. In the same year 2015, he opened his second comapny Black in 24 Inc.[1] It was based in San Fransisco and provides on-demand 3PL services for the e-commerce brands. After this, he opened his third company Darkstore in 2016 in San Francisco, California and it's also an e-commerce delivery platform which provides same-day delivery services in the cities of America. The other branches are located in New York and Phoenix.[2] In November 2016 API of Darkstore and UberRUSH has got integrated and the news was announced by Hnetinka himself.[3] The company has also partnered with Snapchat in 2018 where in one interview he said that “Our partnership with Snapchat really enables any one of their brands to do these innovative social commerce launches with really very little effort,” Hnetinka said. “I think [Snapchat] is doing [something] that no one else has done [which] is connecting something digital with something physical in a way that’s really seamless.”[4] Hnetinka was invited for the conference of International Council of Shopping Centers in 2018 where he was one of the speakers and shared his views on industries.[5] In 2019, Darkstore has also raised a $7.5 million Series A round where during his telephonic conversation with TechCrunch he told “We want to continue to do that and to be a superpower to our brands.
