Lee Kern (born 1978) is an English writer, comedian, artist and filmmaker. He is a writer and co-producer of Sacha Baron Cohen series Who Is America? He is the creator of Lee Kern's Celebrity Bedlam.[1] - a high concept prank show in which he duped celebrities into participating in various outlandish set ups, including believing they had been cloned. Lee was the first ever featured columnist on The Poke, where his column [https://www.thepoke.co.uk/2017/08/31/kerns-corner-one-dream-hunks/ Kern's Corner][2] gave him free reign to write articles on any topic. CareerLee's first television work consisted of lo-fi documentaries such as The Edgware Walker[3] and The House of Memory which explored extraordinary characters and places in the apparently mundane environs of London suburbia. He performed in two seasons of Modern Toss[4], voicing the character known as "Work" as well as other miscellaneous characters including a man who live-streamed cutting off his own leg to get more social media followers and a fly. Lee's first TV special was the prank show The Royal Wedding Crashers[5] where he posed as a representative of Queen Elizabeth's household organising the royal marriage between Prince William and Kate Middleton. Approaching various celebrities he got them participating in absurd behaviours in the belief that they were invited to the wedding or part of it's entertainment. This included getting celebs to sign a contract agreeing to die in order to save the Royal family, and getting Mario Marconi from Big Brother 9 to dress up as a prawn cocktail salad believing he was going to announce appetisers to the Royal family and foreign dignitaries at the wedding reception whilst dressed as a giant prawn. The successful execution of The Royal Wedding Crashers stunt led to Channel 4 commissioning Lee Kern's Celebrity Bedlam, a six part series written and performed by Lee. The show featured numerous high concept stunts that immersed various celebrities into absurd situations such as convincing celebrities they had been cloned[6]. Other stunts included putting on a catwalk at London Fashion Week where celebrities modelled clothes they believed were made from human leather[7]; getting celebs to meet what they believed were a rare Amazonian tribe living in a cage in a children's zoo[8]; and showing Jimmy Osmond around a new age retreat where a goat called Margarine helped heal Lee of haemorrhoids[9]. He was the writer and voice of BOT for two seasons of Bad Robots[10] He was The Poke website's first ever featured columnist where his column Kern's Corner explored both silly and satirical issues such as his crippling addiction to [https://www.thepoke.co.uk/2017/08/31/kerns-corner-one-dream-hunks/ Chinese takeaway food], [https://www.thepoke.co.uk/2017/09/07/kerns-corner-nothing-see-just-octopus-burping-national-anthem/ Internet clickbait], [https://www.thepoke.co.uk/2017/06/20/comments-sections-on-porn-sites-the-last-refuge-of-good-manners/ the comment sections on porn websites], [https://www.thepoke.co.uk/2017/07/13/looking-hope-world-torn-division-read/ identity politics], [https://www.thepoke.co.uk/2017/07/27/kerns-corner-islam-chips/ Islam and Chips (French Fries)] and [https://www.thepoke.co.uk/2017/06/29/this-writer-nails-who-is-to-blame-for-the-world-being-in-such-state/ who is to blame for the state of the world].
