Leslie LokLeslie Lok is a cofounder and co-principal at HANNAH, and experimental and speculative design practice. Lok is currently an assistant professor and Bachelor of Science in Architecture Coordinator at Cornell University Architecture Art Planning.[1]EducationLeslie Lok received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Studio Art from Wellesley College and graduated with her Masters in Architecture from MIT in 2011.[1][2] CareerLok has practiced architecture at various offices, including Saucier + Perrotte Architectes in Montreal, Pei Partnership in New York City, Santos & Prescott in Boston, and MADA s.p.a.m in Shanghai.[2] She is now a cofounder and co-principal at HANNAH.[3] Lok is currently an assistant professor and coordinator of the Bachelors of Science in Architecture program at Cornell University Architecture Art and Planning. Notable Projects and AwardsHANNAH's project RRRolling Stones was the winner of the 2018 Folly/Function competition[4] through The Architectural League NY. Lok has also worked on papers regarding the use of 3D printing in current architectural practice including, "Ladakh Dental Clinic: The Local-Imported Modulars - Negotiating Contradictory Material Practices in Remote Cities," presented at the 2018 ACSA International Conference in Madrid[5], and "Beyond the Ecology of Concrete Sausages," which was presented at the 2016 ACSA International Conference in Santiago, Chile[6]. In 2018, Leslie Lok's Project, "Additive Architectural Elements," was displayed at pinkcomma in Boston, Massachusetts.
