Library of the World's Best Literature, originally published as The Warner Library, is a 30 volume reference work with synopses of works of literature. Its authors and editors included Gerhard Richard Lomer (1882 - 1970), Harry Morgan Ayres (1881 - 1948), Ashley Horace Thorndike (1871 - 1933), John William Cunliffe (1865 - 1946), and Charles Dudley Warner.[1] Later editions were edited by Helen Rex Keller who also wrote a preface for the series.
