The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston is a geographic division of the Roman Catholic Church located in the U.S. state of Massachusetts. It encompasses Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, and Suffolk counties, except the towns of Marion, Mattapoisett, and Wareham in Plymouth County.

Parishes

There are 286 parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston. The archdiocese is divided into five regions, Central, Merrimack, North, South, and West, each containing four vicariates, numbered I, II, III, and IV, with an approximately equal number of parishes in each region and vicariate. Except where indicated, each parish includes a single church bearing the same name. All parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston are defined based on either geography or ethnicity; ethnic parishes are identified with the ethnic designation after the parish name, while all others are geographic parishes.
