The site was founded by Jessica Keenan Smith^[1] in 2009 and is supported by a team of writers who all are affected by epilepsy. Living Well With Epilepsy™ is changing the conversation one post at a time.^[2]

Impact

Living Well With Epilepsy's, Epilepsy Blog Relay™^[3], which began in 2015, is an epilepsy awareness initiative designed to maximize collaboration and eliminate stigma. The concept was inspired by the United Nation Foundation's Shot at Life. It is simple in it's design: 30 bloggers, 30 days. Each blogger takes one day of the month to post either on their own site or on Living Well With Epilepsy. This allows epilepsy awareness to be amplified throughout the month.
