Lori Heimer was murdered in her home in Assaria, Kansas, June 25, 2016.^[1] The 57-year-old mother of four was a beloved dog groomer. Her case remains one of Kansas's most high-profiled unsolved cases.Lori’s death is being investigated as a homicide by the Saline County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation. One of her daughter's, Joni Rae Alexander, failed her polygraph test and has long been considered a person of interest in the case.
