Lucida Evren is a 23 year old human fighter character from the Dungeons and Dragons podcast Obscurity. Throughout the series she exhibits great confidence and leadership skills, however, she also possesses a selfishness and a fear of losing control. She is a pyromaniac and also has an obsession with axes in their various kinds.

Early Life

Evren's parents abandonned her at a young age, leaving her in the care of older siblings Cascadia, Ridge, and Tempest Evren. All of Evren's siblings were active soldiers in the Andromeda Army, named after the region she grew up in, the Andromeda Woods. When she was twelve years old, she went to her first army camp for preteen soldiers-in-training. It was there that she became proficient with axes, thanks to her siblings who bought her an axe by pooling together their army salaries.

When Evren turned 13, her siblings were all called away to battle, leaving her behind. None of Evren's siblings returned from the battle. At their death, Cascadia was 23 years old, Ridge was 20 years old and Tempest was 18 years old.

Campaign 1

In the first episode of the campaign, Lucida rolled the first natural one, failing to dodge a falling stalactite and taking one point of damage. She dodged the boulder by using her axes to pull her onto the ceiling. She dealt the final hit to two enemies. ^[1]

Trivia

One Evren's name, as well as her hometown's name are linked to the stars. The name "Lucida" means the brightest star in a constellation^[2]. Evren is Turkish for "Universe". The Andromeda forest is named after the Andromeda galaxy.
Two Evren's siblings are named after the four elements (besides fire). Cascadia is named after water, Ridge is named after earth, and Tempest is named after air.
