[https://macayres.com/ Mac Ayres] (Born December 6th, 1996) is a singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Sea Cliff, New York, USA. Ayres attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts from 2014 until he dropped out in the spring of 2017.^[1] His compositions are most often described as Soul or R&B, though Mac states that he doesn't ascribe genre specifications to his music.^[2]

Career

Ayres gained widespread acclaim from his debut single 'Easy'. The single charted over 1,000,000 plays globally within the first 2 months of its release, and was notably supported by Joe Jonas via his social media channels. The single now stands at over 10 million plays globally, setting the tone for the young musicians career.

On August 11th, 2017, Ayres released his debut EP, titled '[https://open.spotify.com/album/0qQKOuHPlCPKaNgeOh3ytH Drive Slow]', through Independent record label, [https://arime.co/ ARIMÈ] . The album was mixed and mastered by Jack Dine, the protege of Grammy Award Winning Producer/Engineer, Scott Jacoby. Since then, the 21-year-old artist has been featured on Billboard (which notably gave his EP 'Drive Slow' the #13 slot on their staff picked list of the [https://www.billboard.com/articles/events/year-in-music-2017/8078666/best-rb-albums-2017-top-15 "Top 15 R&B Albums of 2017"]) Pigeons & Planes, Tidal, and a few additional and notable press hubs.

After the release of Drive Slow, Mac toured Europe, Asia, and The Americas, selling out more than 90% of his headlining shows. His next album is set to release in August of 2018 and has been tentatively titled, 'Something to Feel'.
