{{AFC submission|t||ts=20190202175204|u=Karkanxholl|ns=118|demo=}}Madeleine Vyner was a ballet teacher and ballet mistress of the Theatre Royal, Christchurch in New Zealand.^[1] She had studied under one of Sergei Diaghilev's dancers Serafina Astafieva (who was also the teacher of the famous English prima ballerina assoluta Alicia Markova).^[2] Vyner's style was described as being "in the thick of the battle between classical and fancy dancing" and Harcourt Algeranoff described her as a "comrade" of Astafieva's students.^[2]^[3]
