Mahadeva Gramam is a small village near to payyanur, kannur district of Kerala, India. It is an area surrounding to famous temple payyanur sree subrahmanya temple , which is a popular temple in kerala. Mahadeva gramam is a historic place in payyanur, for its contribution towards freedom fight against the British Government. At the time of freedom struggle in INDIA, people of payyanur played a main role for many parallel activities in line with national movement. Thanks to the contribution made by the legendary leaders of this area who participated as freedom fighters. Because of all these historic strikes happened in payyanur, later it was called as second bardoli.
