Set in the 1980’s, Make Believe follows four young siblings as their childhood is upended by the mysterious problems of the adults in their lives and tracks how moments from our childhood resonate with us forever. The play was directed by Jackson Gay[2], a Yale School of Drama classmate, and longtime collaborator with Wohl. It had its world premiere at the [https://www.hartfordstage.org/make-believe/ Hartford Stage], in Hartford, Connecticut, on 6 September 2018 running to 30 September 2018.. The cast included Megan Byrne, Chris Ghaffari, Brad Heberlee, Roman Malenda, Alexa Skye Swinton, RJ Vercellone, Molly Ward and Sloane Wolfe. The production is being transferred to New York[3] where it will be performed at the Second Stage Theatre in 2019, and will be directed by Michael Greif who has been responsible for directing the Broadway productions of major musicals including Dear Evan Hansen and War Paint.
