About {{AFC submission|t||ts=20190222084150|u=Malelah|ns=118|demo=}}Malelah is a Kenyan published writer/poet- the author of a poetry collection called Pieces Of My African Soul, Human Rights campaigner and a film maker. Born in the Western lakeside town of Homa Bay, he fell in love with the arts at the young age of 10. He attended Homa Children's Home academy for his primary school education. Whilst there, he was an active member of the drama club. He then proceeded to join Homa Bay High School. It is here that his interest and skill in writing was developed. He graduated in 2013 and in 2014 joined Kenyatta University to study Bachelor of Arts, Theatre Arts and Film Technology. His career as a performing poet budded then. He has been visible in various events in Nairobi, alongside various media stations from KTN, KBC, FOCUS TV, so to say. Just this February, he released his first collection of poems in a book named Pieces Of My African soul, which is his experiences growing up in Kenya, put inside poetry.
