Altogether, it reports in the towns of Manhasset, Munsey Park, Plandome, Plandome Heights, Plandome Manor and Flower Hill. The Township Press owns this paper and many other local Long Island Newspapers. The Anton Media Group, or Long Island Community Newspapers, Inc., writes a myriad of Long Island newspapers, including the Manhasset Press. In addition, they coordinate with the Long Island weekly to publish lesson plans to improve students’ writing, reading, and language skills.[3] The Anton Classified periodical, aligned under the Manhasset Press, serves as a local job board that’s posted weekly. CoverageWeekly NewsArticles are published every Tuesday in the year 2018. Topics include current local events, weather, sports, opinion, lifestyle, obituaries, and even school news about all Manhasset schools. Topics could be about how infrastructure is being maintained in Manhasset.[4] WebsiteThere is also special issues, such as Automotive, Banking & Finance, and Senior living. The paper also publishes a local magazine called the Manhasset Magazine. Their website has an area to find local newsstands as well. Weather reports are interactive and accesible. There are live updates on Manhasset area news and a popular articles section. Meanwhile, Crime reports are filed on the side of the home page but does not have a section. Occasionally the website will have a memories section to reflect upon past articles. However, this part of the site is not fully operational normally. School SegregationDuring the 1960s after the Brown v. Board of Education ruling, many Long Island high schools were attempting to integrate. The Manhasset Press made a great effort to report upon how schools were responding and tensions among communities.[5] Awards2015 Press Club of Long Island Media AwardsFirst Place – Best Community Weekly Newspaper, Manhasset Press 2015 New York Press Association (NYPA) AwardsCaren Donatelli: Third Place for Best Large Space Ad, Manhasset Press 2014 Press Club of Long Island Media AwardsBest Community Newspaper, 2nd Place Notes1. ^{{Cite web|url=https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn95071155/|title=About Manhasset press|last=|first=|date=|website=Chronicling America: Historic American Newspapers|publisher=Library of Congress|archive-url=|archive-date=|dead-url=|access-date=}} 2. ^{{Cite news|url=https://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn95071148/|title=Manhasset mail.|access-date=2018-12-17}} 3. ^{{Cite web|url=https://longislandweekly.com/category/newspaper-in-education/|title=Newspaper In Education Archives|website=Long Island Weekly|language=en-US|access-date=2018-12-17}} 4. ^{{Cite web|url=http://manhassetpress.com/detours-scheduled-for-webster-avenue-bridge/|title=Detours Scheduled For Webster Avenue Bridge|last=Johnson|first=Elizabeth|date=2018-12-11|website=Manhasset Press|language=en-US|access-date=2018-12-17}} 5. ^Oppenheimer, Peter H. “Desegregation of Manhasset Schools.” HeinOnline, heinonline.org/HOL/SearchVolumeSOLR?view=stp&collection=journals&handle=hein.journals/jle22&div=38&terms=Manhasset Press.
