IntroductionMANTECH ELECTRONICS (MANTECH) is an electronic components distributor based, and incorporated, in South Africa. The company is a subsidiary of the Mobicon Group, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Besides serving the local markets, MANTECH serves other markets in Africa as well as rest of the world.
HistoryMANTECH was established in 1987 by Manuel Arnaldo De Sousa Moutinho. In 1990, MANTECH acquired the business of ANDON COMPONENTS, a distributor specialised in power capacitors. In 2001, MANTECH merged into the Mobicon Group. In 2012, MANTECH acquired SUNTRONIKA a distributor specialising in agencies or distributorships of passive components and electromechanical components. In 2013, MANTECH acquired AP ELECTRONICS, a general electronic components retailer. ProductsMANTECH retails, distributes and wholesales electronic and electrical components, parts, tools, instruments and consumables for most industrial and non-industrial sectors. These include, amongst many others, semiconductors, relays, switches, oscilloscopes, power supplies, wire and cable, etc. MANTECH operates and markets its products, through its website, trade counters and over the phone.
Trading HoursMANTECH operates Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00 as well as Saturdays from 09:00 to 13:00.
