Maria Da Conceição is an endurance athlete, keynote speaker and humanitarian, who dedicates her life in empowering the youth of Dhaka’s slums through education. Maria is also the recipient of 6 Guinness World Records[2], as well as many accolades and first achievements. To date, she is the first and only female Portuguese to reach the last degree of the North and South Pole, and in 2013, became the first Portuguese woman to summit and descend Mount Everest[3]. When not training for her next physical challenge, or working on her foundation, Maria is also a keynote and motivational speaker sharing her stories of perseverance and adversity across multiple platforms.
