== Marie Court == Marie F. Court Vazquez (San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1968) is a plastic artist ( painter, engraver and sculptor) and Cultural agent. Her work is part of public and private collections locally and internationally, She is vice president of the Association of Plastic Artists of Puerto Rico Inc. and President of the Association of Women Artists of Puerto Rico. BiographyIn 1999, she obtained a graduate degree in specialized Arts in Commercial Advertising from the University of Puerto Rico, Carolina Campus. In 2010, she studied at the School of Plastic Arts of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture in San Juan, where she obtained a degree on specialized studies in painting. She won different competitions in elementary, middle and high school. In 1986, she was the first student to obtain the Medal of Art awarded by the Colegio María Auxiliadora Carolina. She entered the University of Puerto Rico Carolina Campus, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts majoring in Commercial Advertising. In 2010 she entered the School of Plastic Arts of Puerto Rico, for which she’s been awarded highest honors in the Department of Painting for 2011-2012 and 2012 -2013. In 2015 he graduated from the School of Visual Puerto Rico Arts in Puerto RIco, earning a BFA in Painting, .She co-founded the Association of Plastic Artists of Puerto Rico where she is currently vice president. In 2016, she wais named President of Women Artists Painters of Puerto Rico Affiliates. The artist works in a naturalistic style focused on the daily life of native characters and people. Within this exploration, the artist delves in the interactions of everyday life of, and captures it on canvas. Among her works are: Azul de tierra en ti; A winged journey; Ay, ay, ay de la negra grifa; Among the wave at you; Give me my number; The rival of my river; Water, life and earth; The Mosquito and blue accordion; The sergeant and his crew; Universe ... time and space; A new dawn in you.
