Robert McClenon (talk) 00:20, 16 December 2018 (UTC)}} Marie Law Adams is a founding principal at Landing Studio,[1] an architecture and urban planning practice, as well as a lecturer in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology department of Urban Studies and Planning.[2] Education and early careerAdams received her Bachelors in Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan and her Masters in Architecture from MIT in 2006, where she was a Presidential Fellow and recipient of the Emerson Fellowship and AIA Medal. In 2005, one year before her graduation from MIT, she and her partner, Dan Adams, founded Landing Studio.[2] CareerLaw Adams is a founding partner of Landing Studio. Since 2005, Landing Studio has developed projects with port facilities and transit infrastructure entities in Boston and New York by designing shared industrial and public access landscapes, light installations, festivals, exhibitions, tours, and industrial/community operations agreements. Law Adams is also a Lecturer of Urban Design and Planning at the MIT department of Urban Studies and Planning.[2] Awards and notable projectsThe work of Landing Studio has been recognized with awards including a Progressive Architecture Award,[3] The Architectural League Prize,[4] an American Institute of Architects Institute Honor Award,[5] a Waterfront Center Award,[6] and the Design Biennial Boston[7] Notable projects include Rock Chapel Marine, the recipient of the 2017 AIA Institute Honor Award in Regional and Urban design.[5] and the Progressive Architecture Award,[3] Infra-Space 1, winner of the 2015 Waterfront Center Award,[6] and the Architecture League Prize Exhibition, Authenticity, in 2015.[4] Awards
