Mian Haroon Riaz Lucky is a Pakistani industrialist and philanthropist. He is the founder and CEO of RK Fabrics, Fairy's Fashion, Steels, and Petroleum Vessel. Early Life and FamilyMian Haroon Riaz Lucky was born on 10 July 1967 to an industrialist Mian Riaz Ahmad Kashif in Lahore, Pakistan. Mian Riaz Ahmad Kashif began with pioneering Sartaj Group of Industries in 1950s, along with his brothers, Mian Mehraj-ud-din, Mian Taj-ud-din and Mian Fazal-e-Ahmad. Mian Riaz led to the emergence of Sartaj Group of Industries, one of the most renowned industrialist groups of the time. His objective approach and strong faith in unity led the group to the pinnacle of glory with Sartaj Flour Mill, Sartaj Ice & Cold Storage, Sartaj Steel Mills and Sartaj Steel Furnaces encapsulating the markets in Lahore, Karachi, Abbottabad and other cities of Pakistan. Mian Riaz Ahmad Kashif was a prominent politician and philanthropist of Lahore. He was the chairman and mastermind behind the development of Baghbanpura and Shalimar Town. He was also the founder of Government Degree College for Girls and Boys Baghbanpura, Junior Model School Baghbanpura, Industrial schools and many other primary schools. He was also the originator of free Medical Dispensaries, Maternity Home Centre, Water Works Development, Fire brigade Station, Post Offices and road construction in his area. Lucky's mother, Begum Jamila Riaz belonged to the prominent landlord family of Lahore and was also a well-known social worker for girls education and rights. EducationHe received his education from St. Anthony High School, Lahore. Due to the sudden demise of his parents, he could not finish his further studies and joined the family business. CareerRK Group of Industries was launched by Mian Haroon Riaz along his two brothers, Mian Humayun Riaz and Mian Suleman Riaz after bearing the irreplaceable loss of their beloved parents passing away in 1989. Mian Haroon Riaz Lucky with his brothers, incepted Riaz Kashif Textiles Pvt. Ltd in 1993, dealing in Knitwear and garment export. Vis-à-vis RK Fabrics Pvt. Ltd was also launched in 1994, dealing with manufacturing of high quality embroidered fabric. In 2004, the accidental death of Mian Humayun Riaz left the family devastated. Thereupon, Mian Haroon Riaz Lucky and Mian Suleman Riaz held the reigns with Mian Haroon Riaz Lucky as the Chief Executive of RK Group of Industries. With their exceptional confidence and intelligence they further expanded the RK Empire by launching Fairy’s Fashion Pvt. Ltd in 2005, a premier quality brand, retailing exclusively designed fine quality embroidered fabric. In 2012, Mian Haroon Riaz Lucky and his brother Mian Suleman Riaz further strengthened RK Holdings by launching Steels Pvt. Ltd. which is also a manufacturing and dealing in all kinds of best grade steel production. Just recently, in 2016 Mian also launched Petroleum Vessel Pvt. Ltd. which trades in all kind of oils and chemicals.
