Microsoft Classroom Pen is an upcoming active stylus and digital pen developed by Microsoft. It was announced on January 22, 2019, and expected to ship in February 2019. It is intended to work with Surface Go tablets, with a lower cost compared to its predecessor Surface Pen. The digital pen has no inbuilt rechargeable battery and requires a single AAAA battery. It also has a slot to tether to a PC. Microsoft aims at selling this pen in bulk to educational institutions.^[1]^[2]
