Mike Aldrich is the current head coach of the Minot State Beavers football team. He is currently in his 3rd season as head coach of the program and sports a 4-18 record as a Beaver. He currently sits 26-31 as a NCAA Division II head coach.^[1]

Early Life

Early Years

Mike Aldrich was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on August 11, 1973. He attended Burnsville High School and graduated in 1991. During his time at Burnsville High School he went 24-2 as a varsity football player, winning the 1989 state championship.^[2] Additionally, Mike was voted as "Most School Spirit" award winner as a senior

College

Mike went to college at St. Olaf College, where he also played varsity football. He lettered from 1991-1994. During his time at St. Olaf College, he was the Oil Can Award Winner, which is given to the top scout player on the team. Mike graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics and social studies education.^[1]

Coaching Career

St. Olaf College

Mike Aldrich's coaching career began at St. Olaf College, the same school he played football at. He coached there from 1995-1998, coaching Linebackers (1995), Tight Ends (1996), and Defensive Line (1997-1998).

College of the Sequoias
