Overview

MindChamps was originally founded as an education research center in Australia in 1998 by David Chiem.[4] On July 25, 2008, Chiem established MindChamps PreSchool.[5] MindChamps launched its IPO on November 17, 2017, the first preschool to be listed on the Singapore Main Board.[5]

MindChamps education team includes Carmee Lim, former principal of Raffle Girls' School; Roberta Golinkoff, professor at the University of Delaware and director of Child's Play, Learning and Development Lab; and Kathy Hirsh-Pasek, a Professor of Psychology at Temple University.[3][6][7]

MindChamps operates schools in Australia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.[2][8][9][10][11]

Partnerships

MindChamps entered into an agreement with Keppel Capital Ventures to form the Keppel MindChamps Education Real Estate Fund, an organization which invests in preschool and early learning centers in the Asia-Pacific region.[12]

MindChamps set up the MindChamps PreSchool China Fund with Temasek Holdings and China First Capital Group in February 2018. The fund invests in and purchases local education funds in China and later operates them as MindChamps schools.[4][9][13][14]
