HistoryThe company was founded under the name Douglas Moore Ltd by Sandy Nicol on 10th November 1966 in Surbiton, South-West London. In the early nineties the company changes its name to Moorepay Limited and acquired local payroll bureau's CCS, ACT, Barclays Bank Payroll Services, CMS Bristol and Paymaster. Moorepay floated on the London Stock Exchange AIM in 1995 and was later named ‘Company of the Year’ at the AIM Awards. Rebus Group acquires Moorepay for £41.1 million in January 2000[1] and later that decade the Rebus Group is purchased by Northgate Information Solutions creating a market leader within the UK Payroll and HR marketplace under the brand name NGA Human Resources.
