It has come under controversy due to their violent lyrics and the murders of Siddique Kamara and Rhyhiem Ainsworth Barton in August and May 2018 respectivly. Kamara was also cleared of a murder in July 2017 in January 2018 on a brother of a Zone 2 member. This is fuelling the violence with rival gang and Drill Group Zone 2 (where rapper Trizzac is also Kamara's cousin.) However Moscow 17 have released many music videos and tracks since 2016 with their dubet track Moscow March (which featured Barton, GB) reaching over a million views before it was taken down by police after his murder. Their members are GB, Loosescrew, Screwloose, Incognito, Rizzy Rampz, Mayski, Knockoutned, Rhynho, Jet Black, Tizzy T, SP17, MY and others. They are linked and close friends with fellow UK Drill Gorup Harlem Spartens which features Loski and others as lead rappers. |
