My Business is an Australian-owned and -operated media publication and digital platform targeted at small and medium enterprise (SME) business owners. HistoryFounded in the early 1990s by business owner and publisher David Koch, who currently{{when|date=August 2018}} hosts Sunrise on Channel 7, My Business has both print and digital publication that offer content on business-relevant topics including finance, sales and marketing, management, technology and human resources. The Momentum Media Group (formerly Sterling Publishing) acquired My Business in January 2016 from the SME Association of Australia and has since grown under the stewardship of publisher Russell Stephenson and Philip Tarrant, Momentum Media Director and Co-Founder. The title’s editor Adam Zuchetti has led the editorial side of My Business since its acquisition. My Business experienced an overhaul under Momentum Media Group’s ownership, with the launch in mid-2016 of a new website and a new-look print magazine. The title also launched the My Business Podcast in July 2016. The print edition of My Business closed down in April 2017. The title’s last print run was its Autumn 2017 edition. Optus My Business AwardsMy Business hosts the annual Optus My Business Awards, held every November. The annual awards recognises service excellence, growth and innovation by Australian SMEs and their leaders. The headline sponsor is Optus, being their primary partner since 2015. Other prominent supporters include Viva Energy, Kwik Kopy, Qantas Business Rewards, Bigstone, Business Energy Marketplace, MGA Insurance Brokers, Prospa, Sage and Spike Native Network.
