Myster is an American cannabis company based in Washington D.C. that designs paraphernalia and other high-end accessories to be used with oils, wax, shatter, live resin, blunts and jays. Founded by entrepreneur and marijuana activist Davis Clayton Kiyo[1], Myster earned a reputation for innovative modern designs by being the first company on the cannabis accessories market to release a fog pen with a viewing chamber, stylist clip and mouthpiece. Soon after, Myster created a magnetic rolling tray[2], capturing the imaginations of cannabis enthusiasts and entrepreneurs alike. Myster has been featured on a variety of popular media platforms such as Brightest Young Things[3], Hypebeast[4] and Viceland’s ‘Most Expensivist’ Weedanomics[5] Episode, where viewers can watch Davis Clayton Kiyo gift American-rapper 2 Chainz a 2 oz. 24k shine gold paper joint chain.

MYSTER MEDIA:

Paving the way for mainstream cannabis culture to be elevated to the heights of American music and fashion, Davis Clayton Kiyo branded Myster Media in 2016, releasing a clothing line and recording Studio by Myster[6] in Los Angeles Hollywood, California. Notable entertainment acts include recording artist and performer ‘Supa Trippa’ and resident producer ‘Grey Goon’.

FOUNDER: Davis Clayton Kiyo was born in Panama City, Panama and lived in Jacksonville, Florida until the age of 11. He relocated to Chevy Chase, Maryland where he was raised during the later part of his childhood and has lived in Washington D.C. for the past 12 years.

POLITICAL ACTIVISM: Having faced a turbulent history with cannabis related charges, Davis Clayton Kiyo was indicted for smuggling 100 pounds of cannabis from Canada to Montana; where he faced up to 10 years in federal prison for conspiracy. Despite the case being thrown out, Davis became determined to stand up against unlawful violations across our nation deriving from cannabis-related arrests, as this would not be the last time Davis encountered the law. In 2016 Davis experienced a civil forfeiture by the DEA due to a clause in the Controlled Dangerous Substances Act of Maryland granting a search warrant for CBD oils resulting in the confiscation of over $53,000 of Myster merchandise[7]. This first-hand account of civil violations urged Davis to reach out to a network of lawyers and cannabis sympathizers in 2018 and create the Cannabis Rights Alliance, intending to end discrimination and unwarranted stigma against medicinal and recreational cannabis use in America.
