Doctor Nadia Hanif has been very active in the Yuma Community for many years. Her medical career started when she completed her internship in Internal Medicine from Long Island College hospital, Brooklyn, NY and then moved to Phoenix. She did her Internal Medicine residency from St Joseph Hospital. After this, she relocated to Yuma, Arizona with her husband and three children. She has been in Yuma for almost ten years now. In last one decade, she has dedicated her life to improving health care in Yuma by various means including voluntary work for the community and patient education by forming a Non profit health organization, [https://poyha.org/ PEOPLE OF YUMA HEALTH ASSOCIATION] or [https://poyha.org/ POYHA.] Currently she is the Vice President[1] of this non profit organization. Her vision is to improve health care in Arizona as well as jobs and economy. She believes that by improving Health Care in Arizona, it will attract Medical tourism and People will come to cities like Yuma not only for good weather but also for better health care.
