Neophytou began her journalism career in 2000 at the investigative current affairs television series, 3rd Degree, broadcast on etv. She joined Primedia Broadcasting in 2006, where she spear-headed the arts and entertainment beat for Eyewitness News, across their 4 stations, Talk Radio 702, 567 Cape Talk, 94.5 KFM and 94.7 Highveld Stereo. She's covered the Cannes Film Festival, the Oscars, the Sundance Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival and San Diego Comic Con, as well as Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Concert in New York, and the Royal Wedding and the Queen’s Jubilee in London. Her writing has appeared in the Mail and Guardian, The Times of London, City Press, GQ, Marie Claire and the Sunday Times.
