  • Photoluminescence applications: quantum dots light-converting devices (QLCD), i.e., quantum dots tube and quantum dots light-converting films (QLCF).[5][6]
  • Electroluminescence applications: quantum dots light-emitting diode (QLED).[7]
  • Biotechnology: quantum dots-based immunochromatography technologies and immunosorbent assays.[8]

History and Awards

In 2019, Prof. Xiaogang Peng was selected to receive a Special Recognition Award by Society for Information Display (SID) "for

his contribution to the development of solution-processable quantum dots for display applications".[9]

In 2015, a joint lab created by NajingTech and Zhejiang University;[10]

In 2014, the company was selected as “Top 10 Chinese Science Progress (2014)”[11] by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, for the project “solution-processed, high-performance light-emitting diodes based on quantum dots” (Nature, 2014, 515 (7525), 96)[12];

In 2014, NajingTech was listed in National Equities Exchange and Quotation (NEEQ, Securities Code: 830933.OC) in China;[13][14]

In 2010, NN-Labs LLC was acquired by NNCrystal US Corporation which is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of NajingTech.[15]

In 2009, NajingTech was founded in Hangzhou China;

In 2002, NN-Labs LLC was founded by Prof. Peng in Arkansas US, for commercializing Colloidal Nanocrystals;[16][17]

In 2001, Prof. Peng first conceived a “Green Synthesis” method of colloidal QDs/Nanocyrstals in the world by using CdO as precursor and non-coordinating solvent ODE, when he worked at Department of Chemistry, University of Arkansas US. This work was first published in Journal of the American Chemical Society in 2001.[18][19]

Founders, funding and patents

NajingTech (Najing Technology Co., Ltd.) was founded in Hangzhou, China in August 2009 by Dr. Xiaogang Peng who

is currently a full professor at Department of Chemistry, Zhejiang University[20].

Prof. Peng once worked at UC Berkeley in 1994-1999, then as a full professor and honored as Scharlau Chair Professor of Chemistry at Department of Chemistry, University of Arkansas.[21]
