The Nanometer-Scale Science and Technology Division ([https://www.avs.org/Divisions/nstd NSTD])[1] is a sub-unit of American vacuum Society (AVS) dedicated to support and promote nanoscience and technology development. It is a forum for researchers across the World to discuss science and technology related to nanoscale structures and strives hard to foster nanotechnology transfer. Each year, NSTD organizes meetings and symposiums, and publishes original research works and reviews in proceedings, scientific journals and books to disseminate the development in these areas. It also sets up a few important awards to recognize both established and junior scientists in nano field.
