Life and career She was joint winner of the inaugural [https://writingchinese.leeds.ac.uk/news/the-bai-meigui-translation-competition/ Bai Meigui Translation competition], for translation of a short story by Hong Kong writer Dorothy Tse. As part of the prize, she attended the 2015 Translate in the City summer school at City, University of London, where she was taught by Nicky Harman. Since then, she has translated novels and short stories by writers including Dorothy Tse, Ho Sok Fong, Yeng Pway Ngon, and Xu Xiaobin.
