His landscape photographs of rural and mountainous landscapes, especially in Ireland, have seen wide acclaim with nature and wildlife outlets such as Nat Geo.[1] Tapman among others has pioneered the way in drone photography. His inspiration for the style is basing his panoramas on the eye of the eagle. Early lifeTravels and AdventureNeil Tapman had previously lived in New York City and London in his formative years as a photograper, this had a profound impact on life and the direction the he would ultimately head in with his art. Travel is a passion for the photographer and over the past some highlights have been Patagonia, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, and the Dolomites in Italy. On why he has pursued photography, Tapman stated: "My passion for photography, travelling, hiking, the outdoors, and film making have reached new heights and I'm beyond excited to continue exploring and capturing the world around me."[2] Neil Tapman moved to London, in the United Kingdom, in late 2009 to study scenic beauty in nature, and how to capture it on film.
