Nexthink is a private B2B IT software company headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland. The company was founded in 2004 by [https://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/person.asp?personId=29739179&privcapId=28445203 Pedro Bados], Vincent Bieri, and Patrick Herzog from the commercialization of an artificial intelligence project at the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Software

Nexthink's software gathers and monitors endpoint activity, network connectivity, and end-user feedback as the basis for automating the remediation of employee IT issues.

The company was cited in Gartner's Cool Vendor^[3] report in 2014, Gartner's 2017 "Hype Cycle for IT Performance Analysis"^[4], and Forrester's "Vendor Landscape: Cognitive Operations" for AIOps in 2017.

Investors

Nexthink acquired $14.5 million in a series D^[5]^[6] round led by Auriga Partners in December 2014, with a further $40 million in a series E^[7]^[8] round led by Highland Capital Partners^[9] in April 2016. The company raised an additional $85 million in a series C^[10] round led by Index Ventures^[11] in December 2018.
