}}Nicholas McArdle is a British actor who appeared regularly on various television shows from the 1970s to the 1990s. With his trademark drooping moustache, he appeared as a number of policemen of various ranks on shows such as Z-Cars, The Sweeney, and Taggart, as well as appearing on comedy shows such as Terry and June, To the Manor Born, and Are You Being Served?.
