Nico Capistrano, born December 14, 1974, is the lead guitarist of the Filipino band, Shamrock. A graduate of Engineering from De La Salle University in Manila Philippines, Capistrano started his career in music playing the local circuit with friends and college schoolmates. Notable bandmates over the years include Filipino crooner Richard Poon and Chot Ulep (bass player for Introvoys) to name a few. His local band, RainCrowd, with Ulep opened the shows for major Asian acts such as True Faith, Eraserheads and Parokya Ni Edgar.
