NOlympics LA is a grassroots group which opposes the 2028 Olympics.[1][2] The group was formed by members of the Housing and Homelessness Committee of the Los Angeles chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America in May 2017.[3] NOlympics LA works in coordination with activists in other cities where games have been or will be held.

In October of 2018, NOlympics LA released a survey showing that 32% of Los Angeles County residents support the 2028 Olympics, while 45% oppose.[4] It was the first poll conducted on the LA Olympics that offered a neutral response. The organization is completely volunteer-run, and is part of a coalition of community organizations related to affordable housing, homelessness, and policing.[5] [6]
