Noman Naseer (Born on 13 April 1983) is a Pakistani Professor of Artificial Intelligence and NeuroRobotics at Air Univeristy, Islamabad[1]. A former speaker[2] and researcher[3][4][5], Noman Naseer is known for his interests in Brain-computer interface (BCI)/ Brain-machine interface (BMI)/ Brain-robot interface (BRI), Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Classification/ Artificial Neural Networks and Functional near-infrared spectroscopy/ Instrumentation/ Data Acquisition Systems

Early Life & Education

Noman Naseer was born in Karachi, Pakistan to Muhammad Naseer, an Air Commodore in Pakistan Air Force. He received his early education from Fazaia Degree College, Risalpur. He completed his SSC and HSSC from Fazaia Degree College, Risalpur in 1999 and 2001, respectively. Afterwards, he joined College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering to pursue his Bachelors of Engineering in Mechatronics.

Career

After completing his BE in Mechatronics Engineering from NUST, he joined Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Air University, Islamabad as a Lab Engineer. He was promoted to Lecturer in January 2007 and taught courses of Mechatronics System Design, Electromechanical Systems, Power Electronics, Electric Circuit Analysis and Digital Logic Design. He went to South Korea on study leave to pursue his PhD in Cogno-Mechatronics Engineering from Pusan National University, Busan, South Korea from 2012 to 2015. After completing his PhD, he rejoined Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Air University, Islamabad as Assistant Professor where he is currently working. He also went to Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam and taught a course of Mechatronics System Design as a visiting Assistant Professor in Spring 2018 semester.
