North Dakota Driving could be one of the hardest things you've ever done. It to some(the less experienced in the climate) is near impossible. Trying to do so while it's -40 degrees out and the wind is gusting 6oMPH bringing the real feel to neat -70. If that were the only thing to worry about it wouldn't be so bad. But also having to deal with snowdrifts in the middle of the highway, low visibility, as well as random patches of black ice and other equally terrible drivers. I'd have to say that driving in ND is one of the toughest tasks one could be faced with. SummerLuckily during the summer the only thing you'll have to dodge are all of the mosquitos that'll be glued to the win-shield and front bumper of your vehicle. Summer driving gives you a whole new outlook on the state and driving in it. Not only are you able to see for miles due to all of the flat farm land, there are also sections of the state of seeing nothing but large lakes full of people fishing and jet skiing. It's a beautiful site to see. You can drive down to the southern portion of the state to get a little bit of the mountains from South Dakota or you can drive all the way north to the boarder of our great neighbors up north. driving west will bring you out to montana and east to Minnesota. |
