Arts at the Lodge is a cafe with house-made pastries and breads.[2] In 2013 OEI opened nine private cottages with a common heated mineral pool and fireplace,[2] with is a total of 33 cottages on site.[4][2] There is a farm that grows over 300 varieties of plants for the various restaurants and has a large, semi-open hall and kitchen for events.[5][6] Another property called "Half-Mile Farm", purchased in 2015, surrounds a lake with a 15-bedroom cabin and three smaller cabins built in the local 19th century style.[7] A private 18-hole golf course with a restaurant and club is just outside of Highlands.[1][8] Awards
