The community is located 3 miles north of Dulles Airport, and 25 miles west of Washington, D.C.. It was developed by Miller & Smith and North America Sekisui House, LLC. Design InspirationWest Village Garden and homes overlooking it were inspired by Gramercy Park in Manhattan. Current DevelopmentTwo sections of One Loudoun currently exist. The first is a plot of land with office condos, a residential area with town and family homes, and a sports complex. The second is the 'downtown' zone with a community center, main plaza, retail stores, restaurants, businesses, additional residential homes, assisted living facilities, and a 150-acre community dog park. The current developed area also houses a Loudoun County Sheriff Station. Future DevelopmentA future 'uptown' zone with a hotel, additional office and retail space, and an expanded residential community are planned to be built in the near future.
