Overly Sarcastic Productions (Also known as OSP)^[1] is a YouTube channel with roughly 800,000 subscribers as of March 12th, 2019.

The channel is generally split into two parts: Red,^[2] and Blue.^[3] Red generally makes videos on mythology, also with a series discussing various writing tropes,^[4] whereas Blue generally makes videos summarizing history.

The channel was made in April 7th, 2011,^[5] with their oldest video on the videos page being made on December 18th, 2012.^[6] As of March 12th, 2019, the channel has 126,983,059 views.^[7]

The style of videos Overly Sarcastic Productions generally produces is relatively short, with hand drawn characters shown on screen to display what is being said. Often, they put text in speech bubbles on the characters, but these seem to be jokes more often than not.{{cn}}

Blues videos often tend to be longer, at 7-15 minutes, seeing as they are often summarizing entire periods of history (or even podcasts) however reds other series, such as classics summarized or trope talks, tend to be just as long. . Of course, this isn't always the case.
